Balance

So today I had to have a real conversation with myself about balance. Over the last few months I’ve been feeling all over the place, thoughts of things that have to get done, work, college etc.

Feeling like when the day was over that I missed something. Until I said today Girl!! u need to bring some balance to your life. Equal time for everything including MYSELF. In doing this I will grow

“Balance is the key to everything. What we do, think, say, eat and feel. They all require awareness and through this awareness we grow”😉

Thoughts

How often do you let your thoughts take over you? I think about how they can take over my whole day, my emotions and even impact my physical too. It can be completely draining.

What I’ve learned as of yesterday 😂 is to recognize my mind is a powerful thing. When I fill it with positive thoughts, my life will start to change.

Incredible change happens in your life when you decide to take control of what you do have power over, instead of craving control over what you don’t.

So I’m starting a new journey of college today and I must say I’m so scared, nervous all the above!!! I keep asking myself why are you feeling these overwhelming things. I just have to realize that I will never be too old to learn something new. So I’m going to turn these overwhelming feelings into excited, grateful, and determined and 😉

Adventure…

So when I think of an adventure what comes to mind is excitement, thrilling, maybe even a mind blowing experience. I’m going on an adventure this coming fall, which will be going back to school to pursue my Psychology degree. After so many years have past I was hesitant thinking it’s too late or why even bother. But I said to myself Storm it’s never too late to start an adventure, so sit back girl and enjoy😊
